When I started my bar team leader job in Park Hyatt Shanghai in 2008, the thing that impressed me most was not a number of floors in the hotel or how magnificent the restaurant was, the real shock for me was the selection of the best and most expensive wines and the team who worked there. Passionately and professionally. Then I realised there was really a vast field for me to explore, the world of wine. I started collecting wine information and knowledge piece by piece, page by page, and study it systematically at the Emirates Academy. After a few months of hard work, I passed the WSET intermediate level with distinction. Later I got an exciting opportunity to work with Le Clos, the best fine wine shop in the world (according to a number of wine magazines), and to continue my wine education.
